1/4cup beet root pulp-50gms. (or as desired)
1/2cup chilled water-100ml.
little less than 1/4cup powdered sugar-4tbsp. (as per the taste)
1/2tsp. cardamom powder (elaichi powder)
1tbsp. finely chopped nuts (almonds,cashew nuts or pistachios)
To make beet root pulp : Roughly chop beet root and steam for 3 minutes on high flame.Do not over cook as it will lose the colour and taste. I mostly use beet root in this way to keep the colour and nutrients as it is. Heat a pan with 1cup water in it, place a sieve or colander inside it with chopped beet root.Cover and cook for 3 minutes and switch off the flame.
